   Open Instagram → tap your profile picture (bottom right)

   Tap the ☰ menu (top right) → tap Accounts Centre

   Tap Your information and permissions → Export your information

   Tap Create export

   Select your Instagram profile

   Choose Export to device

   Set Format to JSON → tap Start export (scroll down if the button is not visible)

   Instagram emails a download link (usually within minutes). Download the ZIP and drop it here.

💻 Computer browser

   Go to instagram.com → click More (☰, bottom left) → click Settings

   Click Accounts Centre (or go to accountscenter.instagram.com)

   Click Your information and permissions → Export your information

   Select your profile

   Choose Export to device

   Select All information → Date range: Last year → Format: JSON → click Start export (use ↓ arrow key or scroll down if the button is hidden below the fold)

   Instagram emails a download link (usually within minutes). Download the ZIP and drop it here.
